The holidays in Carson City wouldn't be the same without our annual Christmas Shopping Spree to benefit families who have fallen on hard times earlier in the year. Around 20-25 families are selected, and Rotarians take one family member over to the local Walmart for an hour of shopping where the Club picks up the tab.

 

Then they return to the school where all the presents are wrapped up, bows attached and before you know it, Santa is hard at work, distributing them out to their surprised siblings with a wink and a nod. There, you can see folks in the Christmas spirit no matter what, and join Rotarians and our own special Santa in making the holidays a little brighter.
